Advisory Council
Duties of the Advisory Council
The Advisory Council will monitor the overall direction and progress of AXIS and make recommendations to the Director to ensure that the incubator provides the highest level of service to the business community. Strong leadership and support from the Advisory Council are essential. The Advisory Council will provide strategic direction and leadership and support AXIS in performing his or her duties. Advisory Council members will be selected for their interest in supporting the organization’s mission, their ability, and willingness to mentor AXIS clients and expertise in various business disciplines.
Advisory Council members may voluntarily participate in the approval process for new applicants to the resident and affiliate client program and be a mentor to clients of the incubator.
